JKDI Rules & Regulations

1. Session Structure:
Each batch consists of 8 to 12 sessions.
Classes are held 2 or 3 times a week.
2. Class Duration:
Children’s/Junior Batch: 45 minutes (20 minutes of exercises and 25 minutes of dancing).
Adult Batch: 60 minutes (30 minutes of exercises and 30 minutes of dancing).
3. Attendance Requirement:
A minimum attendance of 80% of sessions is required to perform on the final day (Parents Showcase performance).
4. Class Essentials:
Students must bring a large towel/yoga mat and a bottle of drinking water to every class.
Appropriate attire is required: sports shoes and comfortable clothes. Jeans and floaters are not allowed.
No jewellery or costly accessories are permitted in class. The Institute is not responsible for any loss.
5. Health and Safety:
Students with ailments or injuries must inform the instructor and provide a fitness certificate from a doctor before beginning the class. The Institute is not responsible for any health issues arising later.
Students with critical illnesses, fractures, or major medical emergencies must submit a medical certificate from a clinic/hospital.
6. Private or personal one-on-one dance lessons:
Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance. Lessons cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will be counted as sessions. Full price will be charged for no-shows or late cancellations. Private lessons are non-refundable.
7. JKDIÂ Session Cancellations:
If JKDI cancels a session (personal or group class), a make-up session will be provided.
8. Dropout Policy:
If a student drops out after 1 or 2 sessions, the entire batch fee is non-refundable. For medical emergencies, a medical certificate is required, and sessions will be adjusted for the next month’s batch. No refunds are given, but class credits can be used for different batches within six months.
Absent students’ classes will be counted as sessions.
9. Special Instructions for Escorts:
Escorts must drop off and pick up children from the main entrance. No escort is allowed to remain on the premises during class unless permitted by the instructor.
Students are not allowed to leave the premises unescorted.
Parents must ensure that their children recognize their escorts. Students will not be allowed to go with any unrecognized person.
10. Video Recording Policy:
No video recording is permitted during class sessions.
Videos will be recorded by the instructor and uploaded to the JKDI online platform, SNAZZY TV (https://Snazzy.tv) for practice and learning. These videos are available at a small cost of Rs 499 for one year of access. Non-members can also pay, access offline class videos, and learn the dance at home. These videos are offline class lessons, not tutorials.
11. WhatsApp Community Access:
JKDI students and online users can join the JKDI Community and Snazzy TV Community using the invite link.
12. Administrative Rights:
The JKDI admin has the right to remove any users from the WhatsApp group or community without prior consent. Respect and support the community as if it were your own.
13. Discount Policy:
JKDI provides discounts on selected offerings. However, any payment made under a discount scheme is strictly non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against any future sessions or programs. The student is required to complete all sessions as outlined in the registration form or as communicated by the class instructor. Discounted rates are available for all age groups and are open to everyone without any restrictions.
14. GST and Billing Information:
JKDI (Jai Kumar Dance Institute) and Snazzy TV (an online dance platform) operate under their parent company, JKN World Entertainment Private Limited. As a GST-registered entity, we are mandated by the Government of India to charge 18% GST on all payments made through online transactions. Includes: Gpay, PayTM, Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, Wallet, and others. This tax is applicable as per the prevailing GST regulations and will be reflected in your invoice.
